Rename and favourite

The pencil icon renames a workspace; the star favourites it, and favourites always sort to the top of the switcher.

Delete, with a safety net

Deleting asks for confirmation first and removes that workspace's data permanently. The Default workspace can't be deleted, so there's always a fallback.

Does DeskTricks work offline?
Yes. All 8 tools run entirely in your browser, and no server is involved in page health checks, autofill, extraction, screenshots, recording, notes, or VAT calculations. The only network call is a periodic license check for subscribers, which has an offline grace period rather than locking you out immediately.
Is my data private? Does DeskTricks see what I'm doing?
No. Everything DeskTricks reads or creates (form data, extracted tables, screenshots, recordings, notes) stays in your browser's local storage. DeskTricks has no account system and no analytics. The only thing that ever leaves your device is a license key check sent to our billing provider, which contains no page data.
How does the 30-day free trial work?
Install DeskTricks and open it: the trial starts automatically, no card required. All tools are unlocked for 30 days. After that, you'll be asked to subscribe or enter a license key; your existing data and settings stay intact either way.
Why does DeskTricks need access to all sites?
DeskTricks's tools are general-purpose: QA checks, autofill, and extraction need to work on whatever site you choose to run them on, which can't be limited to a fixed list in advance. DeskTricks only acts on the tab you're viewing, and only when you click a tool.
What are workspaces and why do I need them?
Workspaces keep your autofill profiles, macros, notes, and extraction templates separated by client, project, or site. Switch between them from the toolbar with no data bleeding between them, useful for agencies, freelancers, or anyone juggling more than one context.
How do I create, rename, or delete a workspace?
Open the workspace switcher in the DeskTricks toolbar. "+ Add workspace" creates one; the pencil icon renames it; the star favourites it (favourites sort to the top); the trash icon deletes it after a confirmation step. The Default workspace can't be deleted, so there's always a safe fallback.
How do I get support?
