DeskTricks Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By installing and using DeskTricks ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension.

2. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, DeskTricks grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension on Chrome browsers you own or control, solely for your internal business or personal productivity purposes.

3. Subscription & Billing

• Free Trial: 30 days, all features unlocked, no credit card required. Trial starts on first extension open.
• Paid Plans: Monthly (£6.99/month) or Annual (£59/year, ~30% savings). Billed via Lemon Squeezy.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime in your Lemon Squeezy account or via support email. Access continues until period ends.
• Price Changes: We'll give existing subscribers advance notice before any price increase takes effect.

4. Refund Policy

• Refunds are handled through Lemon Squeezy, our billing provider, and follow their standard checkout terms unless we state otherwise here.
• Request via desktricks@gmail.com with your license key, and we'll look at it case by case.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the Extension's source code
• Redistribute, sublicense, or sell the Extension
• Use the Extension for illegal activities or to violate any laws
• Attempt to bypass license verification or trial limits
• Use automated systems to extract data at scale that violates target sites' Terms of Service

6. Intellectual Property

DeskTricks and all related IP (code, design, trademarks, documentation) are owned by the DeskTricks team. These Terms grant no IP rights except the limited license above.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. DESKTRICKS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE EXTENSION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VULNERABILITIES.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DESKTRICKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

9. Data & Privacy

Your data is processed locally in your browser. See our Privacy Policy for details. DeskTricks has no access to your page data, extracted content, recordings, or notes.

10. Termination

We may terminate your license if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease use and uninstall the Extension. Paid subscribers receive a pro-rata refund for unused time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes resolved in English courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Extension and email (if provided). Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
